Mental Health Awareness Week 2021
"Keep talking to remove the stigma attached to mental health"
#MentalHealthAwarenessWeek - #MHAW2021
At York Road Project we support a wide range of clients all of which experiencing or at risk of homelessness / rough-sleeping.
The mental health and well-being of our staff, volunteers and clients is of upmost important and with it being one of our primary care needs we explore a variety of training and support services alongside tools and facilities that may help us as we continue to help those needing our support in the area.

We took the time to update our #GrowMeBeHappy workbook for the 2021 Mental Health Awareness Week. Download your copy here.
From training and workshops to colouring books and self help hints and tips we're always exploring how we can focus on the mental health and well-being of our clients and on this #MentalHeathAwarenessWeek we have one clear message and that is, "Keep talking".
Talking about mental health and well-being will help in our countries efforts to eradicate the stigma attached and of course, the more people feel comfortable about talking, the easier things could be.
Our Amazon "Mental Health Awareness Week" wish-list can be found here, it includes items such as self help books, puzzles, colouring books and even bottles of water and light healthy snacks. If you'd like to help us buy from our wish-list or visit our "How to donate" page for other options. Alternatively, donating just £5 could help one of our outreach workers have a catch up with one of our clients over a tea/coffee, you'll be amazed at how simply having a catchup can help someone who may be going through a difficult time.
