We want to say a big thank you to everyone who came along to our open day on Friday 18th January 2019. We were delighted to meet so many members of our local community who care about the important issue of homelessness in our area.

It was a brilliant day and we were lucky to also be joined by the Mayor of Woking, Cllr Will Foster and our patron, sculptor Sean Henry (who has a number of installations around Woking town centre).

We really enjoyed welcoming visitors to our day centre, known as ‘The Prop’. On a normal day we're busy welcoming anyone facing homelessness to access housing advice, plus take part in creative workshops and practical skills training. Everyone had the opportunity to meet our team and learn more about the essential homelessness services we provide; including outreach to rough sleepers, ouremergency night shelter and ‘move on’ properties providing longer-term accommodation.

An extra thank you to everyone who dropped off donations, tried their luck at our tombola or bought artwork made by our clients. We're a local charity so having the support of Woking residents really means a lot to us.
