'Help the Homeless' support YRP!

The chairs in the lounge at the Guildford Road flats had seen better days - one client suggested that they might even be Victorian and valuable!  However old they were, they were certainly very uncomfortable to sit on for long.  It is important that the accommodation here is comfortable and welcoming as whilst the client is here, it is their home.  Sofas are very expensive and so we were thrilled when Help the Homeless offered to buy us two sofas along with some other furniture for the project.  After much deliberation over colour and fabric (I'm sure Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen lives here), the furniture was ordered and once arrived, it was clear that the right choice was made.  The clients report that it is now a homely lounge where they can relax.  Without support from organisations like Help the Homeless, we would be unable to offer the level of support and standard of accommodation that we currently do.  The York Road Project team and the clients would like to say a big thank you to Help the Homeless and all the other individuals/organisations who help us.
