Bra fitting outing with female clients

We would like to thank the women’s group of Christ Church, Woking for their kind donation. It was collected and given to us specifically to take our female clients out for an afternoon to get properly measured and fitted for bras.

This was a truly thoughtful idea as it’s easy to take for granted how important it is for women to have properly fitting underwear, so they feel comfortable and supported. Through speaking with our clients about the trip, I discovered they hadn't had their chest measured or owned a properly fitting bra since their teens.

Naomi, our Wellbeing Worker, and I set off with three of our clients and headed for Marks & Spencer in Guildford where we had a lovely lunch in the café before each of the ladies had a half an hour slot in which they were fitted and chose two new bras each.

A lovely afternoon was had by all and we’d also like to thank the kind ladies that work in the lingerie department at M&S Guildford for being so helpful and making our clients feel relaxed and welcome.
