Volunteers make a huge contribution to the success of our work providing accommodation and support for people experiencing homelessness. We take great care in matching your experience and availability to our volunteering needs.

Make a difference

Regular support from volunteers keeps things running smoothly at our Day Centre 'The PROP' and Night Shelter, from providing meals to facilitating workshops. We also need volunteers to help with office tasks.

Skills-based volunteering

We welcome volunteering offers that help us with skills that are difficult for small charities to access. This could be anything from IT to graphic design. Offers of training for our staff are also welcome.

Groups of volunteers

Occasionally we can accommodate small groups of volunteers to undertake one-off tasks such as organising, decorating or gardening. As a small charity, we can rarely facilitate large groups.

Current opportunities

Current requirement as of Friday March 20th: Click here
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus uncertainty we have a requirement of support from volunteers within the community who may be able to help us, help our clients. From cooking an evening meal to helping put food parcels together and/or deliver them to our move-on accommodation we have a range of things that need doing that will help us continue the great work that we do to support those who are homeless and/or rough sleeping.
