Thank you for checking out our latest campaign focusing on the mental health and well-being of our clients, staff and volunteers.
This campaign is about encouraging each of our clients along with staff and volunteers to plant and grow a sunflower, nurturing it into its recognisable form.
Donations to this campaign help us with the items required to provide each client, staff member and volunteer a 'Grow Me, Be Happy' pack and enables the vital work we do in supporting and working in a psychologically informed way.
Everyone in the community can also get involved by purchasing your very own 'grow your own' Sunflower here, sharing your Sunflowers growth progress via social media using #GrowMeBeHappy and downloading our useful mental health and well-being booklet here.
Sunflowers are like a ray of sunshine, guaranteed to put a smile on your face, we're hoping you can help us get a kit to everyone here so we can brighten up their days!

The impact
The act of caring and nurturing plants is well known to have a positive effect on people. There has been significant research done that suggests a person’s health during an illness is improved quicker simply because indoor plants remove toxins from the air, renew the oxygen in a room and positively impact mental health and well-being. The small amount of care and nurturing given to a plant improves our well-being, emotionally and mentally and can do something as important as giving someone a purpose. Adding blooming flowers and attractive leaves to one’s room/s can improve mood and help a person to relax.
