Our Direct-Access Accommodation

Our 10 bed hostel runs on an instant access basis and is open 365 days a year. Those experiencing homelessness with no where else to go can simply call us or see us face to face; if we have a vacancy and have a local connection to Woking.

Our direct access accommodation is not simply a roof over our clients' heads, we offer assistance with medical and dental referrals, benefits and housing advice and further referrals' to any specialist services that may be needed - for example help with mental health and wellbeing or drug and alcohol addiction.

All of our clients are made to feel welcome, tailoring their support to meet individual needs, during this time we help them to find suitable accommodation to move on to. Often the next step is into our move-on properties which offer a supported housing solution.

Our Move-on Properties

We are responsible for 5 move-on properties that offer 20 beds to our clients across the boroughs of Woking and Waverley. We recognise that not everyone is ready to live independently so in our move-on properties our Tenancy Sustainment Team work proactively with the client to support them with any difficulties they may face or barriers to accessing stable, longer-term accommodation.

Our move-on properties range from small flats to shared houses with common areas. The exact specifications vary but all are equipped with everything needed to live independently. Occupants are offered accommodation options depending on the level of support they require. As each property comes with a different level of support, it's possible to progress through the properties over time as your support needs lessen until permanent independent living is achievable.

Our Tenancy Sustainment Workers

When a client and our outreach worker feel permanent independent living is achievable our tenancy sustainment worker is that helping hand of reassurance ensuring the client is prepared with everything they need and that they are settling into independent living well.

We are confident that our tenancy sustainment worker minimises the risks of our client failing on their own, tracking every step and being that go to contact should there be any challenges.
