Goldsworth Road planning application: A new home for YRP - we need your support!

We are delighted to say that EcoWorld London’s planning application for Goldsworth Road, including a new home for York Road Project, has now been submitted. 

The proposals including the following benefits for YRP;

  • Replacement of the current facilities that are ageing and no longer ideal for the charity’s work.
  • The bespoke building, designed in collaboration with YRP, will allow an increase in beds and specialist support, while bringing all the existing services under one roof.
  • The Day Service; Outreach, Criminal Justice, Substance Misuse, Wellbeing and Day Centre teams will all have much improved facilities.
  • There will be new meeting rooms and conference facilities which other community groups will also be able to access.

    We are grateful for the support shown by the York Road Project and its supporters throughout the design and consultation process.

    It is now very important that the council are aware of your views when considering the application – we need to highlight the benefits this project will bring for the YRP.
     
    The easiest way to submit comments is online through Woking Council’s planning portal. You can find a link to this on our project website, which also has more information on the plans and the other local benefits: goldsworthroad.co.uk/support­_plans – it only takes a few minutes.
     
    Alternatively, you can simply send an email to: [email protected]  - you will need to include the application reference number (PLAN/2020/0568) and your name and address for your comments to be counted.
