We Are York Road Project

We Are York Road Project is a Big Lottery-Funded storytelling project delivered by digital storytelling organisation sounddelivery working with the homeless individuals we support to share their stories.

At York Road Project we see firsthand the challenges faced by homeless individuals accessing the help and support they need. We want to provide a platform for our clients to tell their stories in their own ways and in their own words and generate important conversations around the issues that affect them with the wider community here in Woking, encouraging community cohesion. Our clients shared their experiences and stories to capture photos, create visuals, record audio and write poetry.

You can read, hear and see their words, their thought and their feelings about their situation on this page or follow the links for more insight.
